Young label with perspective
BULTIN. was founded late 2015 by West Flemish siblings: architecture student Glenn Buydaert and his sister Sylvie. He designed lighting to decorate his home in Ghent, as a design lover she saw an object with potential. Together they created the label BULTIN.
Starting from a circular concrete base a metal armature tube is bent over the wheel of a tractor and ends in a lamp. Hence, sleek simplicity. It is softened though by colour. ‘Paint it black’, ‘brick in the wall’, ‘little green bag’ do not only refer to evergreens, but also to the nine colours you can choose from. This results in subtle, stylish eye-catchers. BULTIN. is, however, more than just one object. It stands for a collection, a label.
From BUL to BEN
Therefore, in recent months Sylvie and Glenn started working on their second collection, the bench, an old classic which was given a signature look. This resulted in a real BULTIN. bench of steel and concrete, topped with a touch of colour. The new design is refined, sophisticated and multifunctional. BEN can be put at your dining table or the end of your bed, but also easily matches your lush greenterior.
BULTIN., minimalistic yet sophisticated.
